About BullpenEdge
BullpenEdge is an independent baseball analytics site. Every day it projects every MLB game — regular season and postseason — from the things that actually decide games: who is pitching, how long he is likely to last, which relievers are rested, who is in the lineup, the ballpark, the weather and the umpire.
What makes it different
- Honest probabilities. A 60% projection should come true about 60% of the time. We check that in public on the track record and in a multi-season backtest.
- Pitching first. Starters are projected with a Marcel-style system, bullpens with a rest model built from the last three days of pitch counts.
- Explained. Each game page shows what moves each team's expected runs.
